25. FEBRUARY – 14. MARCH 2021

CLOSING CELEBRATIONS: THURSDAY, 11th MARCH. 6:00-8:00PM

TCB is pleased to announce ‘Dart Object’ an exhibition by Claire Lambe.

In 1977 I read a book of short stories thinking it was a novel. It made sense to me, a broken nonlinear backcloth. Moments in experience all from distinctive perceptions, no beginning, middle or end.

This work is one of those moments its part of a bigger picture, a ten-year project, that might not make sense to an onlooker, but it does to me.

Dart Object is a soft sculpture constructed by the desire to understand how it feels to slip inside a form and the material knowledge that can be realized from the intimacy of looking.

A jacket that comes with a history and will be used in the future.

Claire Lambe is an artist based in Naarm/Melbourne.
